This was our second painting done by Joy Chen. The oil painting arrived today and we were extremely pleased!! She captured the facial features of my husband and our dog perfectly. We had some issues with a few details but Joy was willing to make adjustments to get it right. In fairness to her the problem was more a website problem than her skill as an artist. The reference pictures and preliminary drawings were not clear on my project page. Maybe I wasn't doing something right but I found the web page slightly confusing. I couldn't make adjustments with the little box. I had to write my concerns to Joy. I'm glad she was so patient with me. I would definitely recommend her.

I have a picture of a horse's head already framed. I want a drawing of a different horse to match what I have. I will reframe the one I have to make the overall frame size smaller. Measuring from the matting the picture is 10 1/2 in by 13 1/2 inches. I would assume the matting overlaps the drawing by a little. The picture will be just the horse head - no bridle or background. Some things would be removed from my photos and I have multiple photos to help get the idea I'm wanting. I am not positive what type of medium was used for the framed picture. It definitely is not an oil painting. I have assumed it is pastels. I would like the painting of the Morgan horse - the liver chestnut color - to have the same head angle as the framed horse. I don't want anything but the horse's head. The two pictures will be hung as a pair. I would like Joy Chen to sign the painting
