The process was difficult, as the artist was not good at understanding or creativity. Possibly a language barrier? The final work looks goid- not fully what I wanted/expected, but I got tired of trying to explain my needs and just accepted... but it is totally not the size I had ordered. I had ordered the size that stated the art would be 16x20, and the actual image came out to be 12.5 x 15. I had a frame and mat to accommodate the actual size I ordered. I cannot use this painting with it even if I wouldn’t mind all the whit canvas showing, because the canvas part has orange smear of paint on it.

I would like the photo with file name 3622694 (man and woman in white) done in a photo realistic watercolor style. I would like to keep the same scale/centering, but have the background to include the lights and lanterns represented in the next three photos rather than the basicly dark background in the original.(these additional photos are from our wedding, and I would like it to look like we are in that setting, mostly so there isn't so mach darkness behind us like in the original photo. I am trying to achieve a more colorful/twinkly/cheerful warm lit nighttime background). I would like the female dress to have the gold filigree (as in the last photo). I am a fan of impressionist art, because I like saturation of color, but I am choosing a more photo realistic style to keep the beautiful structural lines of the two people in the photo. Choosing watercolor to keep the smoothness, but want more intense color added- the orange, green, yellow, and red of the lanterns, the goldy warm string lights, green of the leaves. The background can be more impressionistic or use the photos kind of like a collage, does not have to literally be just ONE photo. Thank you!
